Well that 2-4 weeks estimate is very rarely true. We're looking at a 5-8 months average wait time after DM.
Well, it might be true for individuals who was invited to the test on the earlier stages of the process, however according to IRCC the ceremony should be up to 6 month from DM, since 6 month it's the middle of the process plus additional 6 for the ceremony waiting (Total 12 month). I know for Mississauga office the ceremony waiting list is significantly shorter, not sure about Scarborough however.

My family applied 17th Apr, test date 2nd Mar. They told you will get oath invite in 2-4 weeks but still status is showing In process

Did you request GCMS notes?

Yes, Mississauga is relatively faster in processing oaths. Scarborough, however, not so much.

True, its a common trend also that every month Mississauga holds more ceremonies compared to Scarborough, so whatever backlog they may have they are moving at least 50% faster. This month its 15 in Mississauga vs 10 in Scarb :(.

10 vs 15 isn't that bad if that is the case. We're all in this together. It'll take 4 months at least for each of us October people between DM and Oath. It's only been 2 months for me.

I don't really believe in any logic or turn they are following. My application was received on the 3rd of August and have DM since 4 months and still no oath. The August applicant who got invite sent his application on 27th of August and was received on the 30th so it's all about luck...

It’s seems that those applicants with later DM is getting earlier Oath Invite than those who DM months ago like you and I let’s hope they don’t forget about us.
