I did from Riyadh in Al Wurood hosp. Both are E-enabled. Alwurood is reasonable than Habib. For us it took 1950 sar for 2 adults and 2 kids under 5.

1. Validity of the Bank Draft is for 6 months.

2. The current deposited amount in the account doesn't matter, as the required amount is already debited from your account. Even i didn't used my own account for making DD. I used my friend account in SABB. They are not concerned about the background details of the account related to DD. They may about the one you used for making bank statement, proof of funds.

3.The Bank won't inform or send any intimation but you can get the update by visiting the bank and they can check from there records for you.

The instruction should be mentioned in the PPR letter. Whether you need to send it to Canada or Riyadh. Isn't it mentioned there?
My VO is London and y PPR email mentioned the below clearly..

1. Submit the documents listed below to our office in Riyadh (not to our London office), according to the instructions in Appendix C. All documents for you and your accompanying family members must be submitted together in one package.

Appendix C - Submission and Return of Passports
Please refer to the “Passport Transmission Services” section of the VAC website for details on how to submit your package for secure transmission and for issuance of the permanent resident visa(s).

You should expect to be without your passport(s) for four weeks, so do not arrange any travel that will require your passport(s) during this period.

If you or any of your family members are residing outside North America and you are unable to send your/their passport(s) to Canada and/or to provide a return mailing address in North America, contact us at CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca so that we can make arrangements to print visas at another office.
