Same day Stamping in Canada

I was reading this thread

In this there is same day stamping in Detroit ,so do we have something like this in Canada too?

Actually few days back someone posted in one of the threads that his friend actually got it stamped same day,so can anyone tell me whats procedure for that?

Well since there are only 2 offices in the US now, New York and LA and neither accepts walkins, and here is what New York states

Passports and original documents will not be returned in person. All passports and documents will be returned by mail. The visa office will return passports to addresses in the USA or Canada only.
