ive been hearing rumors for two months now about workers under the live in caregiver program. they say that a new law has been approved in april 2011 that live in caregiver can no longer apply for permanent residence. is that true? ive never seen it in the immigration website tho, but people never stopped talking about this. it bothers me cause i just arrived 4 mons ago and i havent got my working permit with my new employer. anyone ??? please all response will be highly appreciated.
