In RQ there was a question saying that"Since your arrival date in Canada did you idenitfy yourself as resident of Canada in income tax returns"
We left in Nov 2012 to US but my IT preparer selected the option "Non resident" for 2012. I was not sure about tax terms. Notice is Assessment , recognized us residents and we paid some additional taxes.
But for 2013 we checked Non Resident in RQ. Will it affect the case? Is there a way to correct it?
We have the copy of RQ.
