My question is .. No news =Good news?![]()
Passing the first 2-3 months without rejection, usually means the chances of rejection due to whatever reason, drop significantly.

Yep.. it is true. the reason i m a little bit worried is that my application proccesing time increased by 5 months (?) excacly after Trumps Win..But i suppose that effect only the new applications right?Carmageddon said:Definitely.

I dont think Trump will have much affect on processing time.gkountouris said:Yep.. it is true. the reason i m a little bit worried is that my application proccesing time increased by 5 months (?) excacly after Trumps Win..But i suppose that effect only the new applications right?
You are right for sure .. the think is that the proccesing time is 5 months longer.. My application is in Rome from 25/8/2016 and since then no news at all .Carmageddon said:I dont think Trump will have much affect on processing time.
People will calm down when they see the world isnt ending under Trump, and its not worth leaving their families and jobs just for "Dump the Trump" crowds ;D
They didn't even touch my file since Aug 18th when our application was transferred to Rome. I received the GCMS notes yesterday and there is no activity happening in the file whatsoever. Nothing has been reviewed , so i wouldn't exclude the rejection as of yet. I am very disappointed that this visa office is not trying to bring families together for Xmas.Carmageddon said:Definitely.

Actually my second set of GCMS notes were generated a few days before my PPR, and from it, I could tell the file was not touched since it was transferred to Rome - when they opened it, they processed it within days to PPR, so it means either they are slacking, and once a week pick a few cases to move along to keep statistics "good enough", or that they are actually busy, and files are waiting in queue.alb007 said:They didn't even touch my file since Aug 18th when our application was transferred to Rome. I dont know what i should beleive about them.. There are other VOs , Like Ottawa for example, that they are really fast proccesing the cases.Carmageddon said:Actually my second set of GCMS notes were generated a few days before my PPR, and from it, I could tell the file was not touched since it was transferred to Rome - when they opened it, they processed it within days to PPR, so it means either they are slacking, and once a week pick a few cases to move along to keep statistics "good enough", or that they are actually busy, and files are waiting in queue.
I wouldn't compare rome with ottawa because they process application from US citizens mostly. But Rome was processing much faster spousal applications in the first 6 months this year.gkountouris said:I dont know what i should beleive about them..
