Returned applications

Hello Folks,

I have a question out of curiosity. If CIC returned the application for anything being wrong, if I resubmit the application ,does it go to the end of the queue and reprocessed from scratch or will it go to its original spot and preserve the same timeline?

Asked and answered thousand times befor on this forum. Ofcourse u start from scratch again. Processing times are from date of receiving completed app

The original spot is established when they determined your application is complete, not when it is received

what was your application?

my sister's application was also returned recently and she completed it from scratch again and sent it back. SPousal sponsorship.

It says on return letter that it is not in queue and will be placed in queue when they receive complete app

Thanks for the info. I have just sent for Citizenship but I believe the concept applies to all kinds of applications.
