I checked the box for IELTS on the document checklist. I just hope my application would still be considered and processed under the old process as it was received by CIC on the 10th of December 2014

My application which I submitted in December 2014 was returned and it was stated I didn't include my IELTS result which I included. The IELTS result was sent along with the returned package to me. If I didnt include it, how would it have been in the returned package. I sent back my documents in January 2015, will the application be processed based on the formal process prior to January 1 2015.

Did you submit an additional copy of your IELTS?
Additional copy is the same as the original, only difference is the date of issue. The gap between the date of test and date of issue can be a problem?

or had you got your results re assesed? since in this case too the date gap is considerable.

I submitted the original and not an additional copy. I have sent back my application in January 2015 and hope it will be assessed based on the regulations before express entry came into place.

did u by anychance renew your passport after your ielts? sorry just hitting in th dark. but i did that and thn in th covering letter kept a copy of my old passport - as in ielts the only proof is our pp number

No. The passport was renewed in October 2013 before the IELTS exam was taken. I just still find it hard to comprehend how the CIC agent didn't see the result and returned my application stating the IELTS result wasn't included. The only reason I took the IELTS exam was because of the FSW application.

I am asking such details because my app is recvd by CIC on 17th December and they have returned on 12th Jana 2015 but as on date i have not yet received my documents.

Worrying how much time usually take to receiving the same

My NOC is 1114. Application was received by CIC on 10th December 2014. The date on the letter advising me of the returned application was 7th January 2015, the returned package was delivered to my address on 17th January 2015

where are you from?please let me know because I am in canada and i have not heard anything till yet and I applied on 28 nov 2014 but no news yet and if they want to return my application I would have got it by now.Please share.

they usually send it through snail mail and depending on the country you come from it can actually take up to 2months to arrive

Some weeks back, I posted that my FSW application was returned stating I didn't include the IELTS test result which I included. I sent the application back in January 2015 that I included the result. I am please to announce that my account was debited of the application fee on 24th February and I got my PER on 3rd March. Really thank God and those in the forum.
