Request Letter for additional information twice

Good day,
My study permit application has been processing for about 5 months now. I recently got a request letter for additional updated information which I have provided and about a week after, I got a similar request letter asking for the exact same information. Could this just be an error from various processing offices or do they expect me to provide even more updated information?

Better to submit again. Also, do mention that you are submitting it again. Usually when you submit and additional document/information, you receive an acknowledgment email after that within a few days. However if you havent and again had this request this means they havent had your documents or maybe overlooked.

I got the acknowledgement email about a week after my initial submission. Then it was the next day I recieved the second request letter. It was a little re-branded like someone else wrote it but it still asked for the exact same information.

Resubmit it and cite the previous submission and acknowledgement email you had.
