Request for Missign Information. Delay due to Mistake in Background/Declaration

Could any expert be kind to let me know what would be the delay caused by making in mistake in the backgrond/declaration form please?

I maam under QSW, at Ottawa Visa Office. I got a msg from NovaScotia that there was a missing info in my form.
