Replacing Canadian Passport from USA

Curious if someone can help me.

I had a legal name change when I became an American Citizen. I have to update my Canadian passport to show my new name but I don't know any Canadian here in Florida that could be my guarantor.

I am curious if I use Occupation based guarantor, Do they have to be Canadian Citizens as well?

Thank you. I am applying in Florida. Ive seen all the list of professions allowed. Do u think a nurse is allowed to be a guarantor? They are regulated just not on the list
