Renewal of Visitor visa before it expires

I have a Current TRV valid till August 2023. I have applied for the new one with travel dates in October 2023.
I have travelled 2 times to Canada & also hold a valid B1/B2 US Visa with multiple history of travel to US so that makes me eligible for CAN+.

Applied on 12th Feb via GC key
Biometrics : Previous Valid till 2029
Review of eligibility started on 15th Feb

Hopefully will be getting the decision in few days.

I have a valid TRV expiring in November this year and was issued on my old passport which I have renewed in February. My PGWP extension application is approved last week and I am waiting for my new extended work permit linked with my new passport. Can I apply for the TRV after getting my work permit physically by the end of April or in first week of May or I should wait more. I am thinking to apply early as I have my PR application in process for which I have received an AOR starting April but no update on file till now.

Please advise, my travel plans are not fixed and may cross current TRV validity date when I will come back Canada. Which is why I am thinking to apply now.
