Rejected Student Visa under SPP. Profile Enclosed. Please help..

I was rejected a visa today under SPP program. Here is a brief timeline of my educational and professional life:

• 10th: 65%
• 12th (Physics/Chem/Biology): 67%
• 1 year Bachelor in Biotech and Cell Biology from La Trobe University, Australia: Deferred permanently because of disinterest in the program.
• 2 Year Diploma in Printing and Graphic Arts (Multimedia) from a college in Australia: Good grades with higher distinction in most courses.
• 1.5 years work as a console operator in a service station in Australia: to help repay my expenses.
• 3 years work as a freelance graphic and web designer in India: Self employed earning INR 3 lakh/annum approx.
  

Got an offer for a 2 years diploma in Interactive Web Design and Development from Georgian College, Barrie.
Paid 1 semester fees + GIC.
IELTS: 7 (R 7, S 7, L 7.5, W 5.5)
SOP was attached.
Family lives in the US. Dad earns US$41,000.
I was rejected US tourist visa twice.

Please help me decide what my next move should be. Is it advisable to reapply under General for this intake. Is there anything I can do to improve my case?

@ slalani we are in the same boat,where you in Australia bro,I was in sydney for 4 yrs did diploma in business with high distinction.

What was your actual reason for rejection share ur full profile, why did u opt for diploma when u have already done in Australia it means to VO that your progession to ur studies and not a geniune entrant, education should be for PG diploma or masters.

Hi Zack.

I was in Melbourne for about 4 years. I selected the course because I genuinely wanted to gain some skills in web development. Plus this course has a co-op. I was not aware that doing 2 diploma would be a problem. I have not completed a bachelor's degree. Therefore, my opinion was that I would not be eligible for a post graduate diploma. Or am I?
