Regarding CIO processing time in Sydney - longer and longer!?

I sent my application for CIO to Sydney on 19 Oct, but now I haven't received any feedback from them.
I checked online at the CIC website and there shows no status, no nothing.
Does anyone know what the heck's going on with the Sydney Office?
Does anyone share similar timeline with me?
I am applying for FSW with my common-law partner and all the document were sent together.
Can I expect some noise from them by January?

i read on this forum that it takes 60 to 85 days nowadays. As application numbers increase, so will processing time.
Are you applying from within Canada.

yep, mine came in 28 days (i think) including weekend, christmas, new year, postal times, etc.

I think the 60-85 days includes weekend.

no, except postal times. I applied from US, and i think depending on where you applied from in Canada, it might be faster to US than within Canada.
