Reference Letter after ITA

How old can a reference letter be when u submit PR application after receiving ITA?
The letter which i have is from Oct 2016 and i got ITA in April. So, can i submit the old letter itself?
There is no change in my employer.

There isn't specific requirement on date. If you can get new, why not.
I submitted 6 month old letter too.
