Please clarify -
For principle applicant applying to study, is it just necessary to apply for a study permit/VISA (I gather this is the same thing?), or for a visitor VISA as well (I believe I need a VISA, not an eTA, according to CIC)?
For spouse, is it necessary to apply for a work permit/VISA, and an open work permit (holder) (2 different fees on CIC website), and does he need a visitor VISA as well?
I'm also confused as to whether we can just apply online through the CIC website, or if we have to use the VISA Application centre in South Africa?
