Hello,

My mother has 10 year multiple visitor visa (General Category). She arrived here in Canada on June 2022 as visitor. After her first Six months as visitor, we applied for first extension for another six months which was granted and extended until August 2023 (excluding Two months of application process time). Since she stayed in Canada for 1 Year now on General Category Visitor Visa, Can I apply for another six months extension for her so that she could stay with us some more time? Would IRCC approve second time extension or It's mandatory for her to leave Canada before expiration of her visitor record or Flag Poling could be an another option? TIA

There’s technically no limit to how many times you can extend, but of course try to be reasonable about it. Considering the super visa allows stays for up to two years, this should be fine.
