I have read this forum long time ago. I found that most of the people has to do the interview after you get the AIP or PR. Can someone let me know what kinds of interview it is? Does the interview take place in the custom or somewhere office? Does CIC fix the date for the interview?

If you are asking about an inland interview for a spousal application for landing this is normally something that would be done prior to AIP or being becoming a PR for that process. If one is directed to attend and interview after AIP or being landed it would be unlikely to be with CIC since they have made a decision.

Regardless, if called for an interview a date would be set when attendance would be required by whoever sets the interview.
