Hello Guys,

I have a question on whether to write in Capital Letters or Small Letters in Reading Module ?
In last attempts i used to write only in CAPITAL letters. For example :

In passage, if the answer is "family business ", can i write in capital letters ? or should i write as it is what is presented in the passage ?

Any penalty for writing in CAPITAL LETTERS ?

You may write in either lower case or capital letters so it's up to you. but, i would be consistent with my answers instead of changing styles back and forth.

I had attended the British Council workshop for IELTS and in that the instructor had told us that one of the things we should be careful about is capitalizing the first letter. In a sentence the first letter of the first word should be capital, then country names should be in capitals etc. In writing this should be followed however, in the listening test you should follow the question and sentence in order to make sense clearly "an orange" is correct but "an Orange" will be wrong. Writing in capital letters may not make sense however, I don't have any proof of this and I went with what the instructor said in the workshop. In reading its simpler, just write the same way as the passage, if its in capitals then write in capitals.

I hope this helps.

Yes..You can write capital letters. One of my friend had attempted in the same manner and he got good score in both Listening and Reading. :)

Good luck
