dear experts
please help me figure out when the MR request comes? After second line update? Third or forth?
please advice and how you diffirinciate those updates on ecas? I have 2 lines one that ther recieved my application and the second one that they started processing my application. what does it mean? but the webpage was modified few times after the second update and the lsat one was in October.

MR is sent by a robot after they determine your program eligibility in accordance with Ministerial Instructions for SW-1. After the clinic uploads your meds to CIC Health Branch, they will update your GCMS file and few days later you will see a third line on ECAS (it is always updated with delay), saying "We have received your medical results". The message on ECAS page pertaining to page modification is irrelevant to your application. It refers to whole script. Just live your normal life and quit worrying about progress. They will contact you once they are ready.

Hi Friends,

I need advice for my friend. He has done medicals from Apollo Ahemdabad. Now he got the letter for furtherance medical for Chest X-Ray.

The query is:

1. Is it compulsory to do remedical at apollo again? Can he change the hospital?

2. What happen if he changes the hospital, will it affect his file?

3. He consulated the MD Physian and take the X-ray but the x-ray is normal. There aren't any abnormalities found.


FYI, Apollo is giving 21st Nov. date for re-medical.

Can someone please advice or share experience if faced such kind of issue?

My visa is valid till 19.04.2016. I am planning to leave for Canada on 08.04.2016. Could you plz advise if there is any validity requirement for visa at the port of entry in Canada? Is that Ok to enter Canada 2-3weeks before visa expires?

Since I am not receiving any update from WVO on my file and even no response on CSE, so was planning to order GCMS notes...

I found the following link on the official CIC website which talks about "Access to Information Act": http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

It costs $5 and can be raised by Canadian Citizen or PR holder, and since I have a sibling in Canada, I was planning to ask them to raise it on my behalf.

Is this the same thing as GCMS notes? Or can someone guide how to order GCMS notes via the official CIC channel!
