Hello Guys,

Is there any one who cleared interview and gave 2 Police Clearance Certificates (one from USA or UK). I provided 2 PCC. One from pak and second from UK. I cleared interview 2 weeks ago. My VO told me that now i have to wait for security clearance from Uk before I get MR. I just wanna know how long it takes to get MR after clearing interview keeping in mind the Pcc from UK as well.

HI ALL,

NEED URGENT SUPPORT FOR DOCUMENT SUBMISSION UNDER FSW..!!!

I need to show employment proof of a company where i worked 4 years ago. My manager, his manager and even his manager are no longer with the company. The HR has a policy not the share any details in a customized format. Most of my colleagues are no longer with the organisation. Also, i cannot get hold of the letter head to attest my roles and responsibilities. Only document i have is offer letter, all payslips, experience letter & relieving letter. Kindly suggest how to go forward. Will i be needing any additional document apart from an affidavit.

I am 13 Aug applicant. Per on 3rd dec and SL on 21 feb. Received mr on 14th October and did my medicals on 19 October and submitted PCC and RPRF also as asked by them. Now I have two questions- In how much time can I expect ppr and number two is there any chance of rejection or verification after mr??

I am in a confused state... My visa expires mid of January, I must land before that.. The big question is... Can I give my friend's address for PR card? And come back after 2 weeks. Or should l wait there till I get PR card? My company less likely will give approval for 2 months leave approval. Should I take a risk by giving friend's address and come back in 2 weeks or should I ask for 2 months leave in my company, I am sure the management will ask more questions.

Please need help from seniors, who have gone through this difficult phase.

You are right that on the official CIC website it is mentioned what you saying.

But the Certificate issued from Passport office is known as PCC (Police Clearance Certificate)

Certificate issued from Commissioner office is PVC (Police Verification Certificate)

The process is same, except in PCC from Passport office you submit your application to Passport office, they then forward it to the local police station, then police people call you for verification, same process as for PVC.

Infact if you take the PVC issued by Police Commissioner office and go to Passport office they will issue PCC to you immediately since you completed Police Verification.




So dont get confused or Confuse other people.

And the date you have mentioned that So Called new rules have come into place, My Cousin currently he is in Canada, He submitted PVC only after the date the information related to PCC was updated on website.

U are right I inquired about same at police station they said same they issue ly PVC .
PCC is issued by passport office only so I got appointment for pcc at psk Vadodara on 30th Oct for spouse
When I got pcc inJune 2013'it was issued within 15 mnts only they didn't ask police or any other authority
And that was valid also at cic and they have not asked for my PCC only spouse pcc is required

Could you please inform that when did you raise the CSE and when did you get the answer from the your Visa Office.
And who is your Visa Officer or Program Assistant?

I raised the CSE on August 18 and I got responded on next day, I am not aware about my Visa Officer, the mail was simply from visa office.

I don't want to pessimistic , but this is my experience. I had the same two lines until Sep 30th

We received your application for permanent residence on July 30, 2014.
We started processing your application on November 18, 2014.

I had applied for GCMS notes in the last week of Sep , then suddenly everything started moving in fast pace , My attorney received an email stating that my application was refused , because CIC had asked for medicals / clearance and Right to Landing fees by Feb 19 2015 (this email was never received ???)and I had not responded to them.

Now that my attorney had submitted a request to re-open the case , I am still waiting .

From my experience , I recommend applying for GCMS notes , its worth a try.

Many thanks for your precious advice but had they made any request then would it be mentioned in my email reply. Because I was thinking the same that my consultant might have missed their email.

Dear,
PPR issuance avg time is 2 - 10 weeks at the moment for 80 %.
Chances of rejection are very rare.
Verification is ongoing (B'cause you submitted PCC with MR, RPRF)

PPR is coming... 8)
