After Passport Submission, what r the visa offices doing on passport??

Will they stamp visa on the passport OR they Just give any paper document [VISA] like in uae, or
its getting stamped on the passport itself

I got my 2nd line update on 7th April.. Till when it would be expected to get MR?

Am seeing ppl from nov, or after me are getting MR after 2nd line update ( although lot of ppl before me havent got 2nd line update yet).. when should i start worrying...( by the way am already tensed as these are the defining moments when background check is in process and you already started to to hope more after PER) Smiley

yes Grace.. VO will stamp on the passport itself along with that they would also send COPR ( Confirmation of permanent residency) letter which you would required to produce during landing. ! All the best !!

May 2014 applicant 2nd line updated in March 2015.

Background check is done after 2nd line update. Criminality check is initiated after 3rd line update. In case of any suspicion they can do background check in parallel.

My worry was just that my second line got updated after receiving medicals & after updation of medicals received line..SO was just wondering is it a site error or they first took medicals and then started checks..as they say processing started on 15th April 2015, but i got medical request back in march and also submitted by 31st March 2015. So this date is confusing me a lot.

My earlier Visa office was New Delhi, India but then my file was transferred to Colombo Visa Office, Srilanka.. SO i guess this should not worry me right? Roughly when can i expect Passport Request? And just for confirmation and clarity if anyone comes till this point of application it means a surety for PR Visa? Or still chances for negative news can be there??

Dear Friends and Seniors,

I am still waiting for answers from you for my below queries. Pls help in clarifying the below situation.

I sent Nepalese PCC of myself and my wife along with my wife's PCC from another country where she studied before while filing application during Sept 2014. If WVO asks for fresh PCC of myself and my wife in MR email, then does it mean that we should get her foreign PCC too again or is it only fresh Nepalese PCC (She hasn't visited that country again after we filed the application to CIC)??

I am yet to get MR email but still want to get prepared for the above issue to resolve in time.

What does this mean, Back Ground checks for the studies and all the companies that I worked for will be done (or) are they already completed.

Please share your opinions.

If the pcc is demanded then you will have to provide. It is not necessarily demanded by the vo.
