Guys, got my PPR today morning and updating the forum after submitting my passports at VFS. It has been a long wait as DM was on 20th March.

Feeling relaxed.

Do you still keep the old passport or was it returned to authorities when you got a new passport. If you keep the old one. just show it to your visa office when requested.

I still have the old passport with me. Yes, if they ask for all pages of passport, I will be sending two copies (one that of old passport and another that of new passport) with a cover letter mentioning about the same.

Hi,

I have submitted my application for fsw 2014 and my application has reached the CIC office at Nova Scotia, Canada on 22nd of December 2014 and the payment has been charged through Credit Card on 16th February 2015 but till now I have not received any PER or any other mail from CIC and in my application section on CIC website the first line is updated as " 1. We received your application for permanent residence on December 22, 2014. "

Can anyone help me as to what would be the situation or status of my application.

There is nothing to do, just wait for your PER mail

Finally finished my long wait...Just got my passport back with Visa and COPR by Blue Dart courier .Submitted my passport on 7th April...So Plz complete my timelines as I don't have the link saved to update it myself

I paid my RPRF fee through DD and I have sent my courier through bluedard on April 6th and it reached on 7th and post that I haven't received any update of encashment of DD, I am closely checking with bank and DD haven't presented to bank still now......now its bugging me up whether my courier reached them or not....

Any one like me waiting for their dd to be encashed...

Appreciate your kind help if you are also waiting like me...

Hi Madhu, you will receive a official payment receipt once your DD is enchased from visa office. It happens to me .

I have a similar situation. I did not make one payment of CAD980 for me & my spouse but two payments of CAD490 each.

The payment receipts and cover letter were sent to the VO on March 11 and the meds uploaded on March 20 & April 2.

Since then I have not heard from the VO and no 3rd line update seen. Should I send a CSE?

I am not aware about CSE but I do not think sending 2 DD's with proper amount a problem at all.

Hmm its April 20 and no signs of DM still .

ManY have crossed the minimum 30 day mark though

The spreadsheet also says the same.

I see NDVO picking may/june applicants file in this barren DM period .

There is a big list of people waiting for DM as per spreadsheet.

It will be interesting to see if there will be any DM storm near 24 April 2015

Any ways best of luck guys keep checking you ECAS .

Dear Forum Members,

Need your help. My wife and I have received our Visa valid till 20 - Jan - 2016. As I had already informed my wife is pregnant and she is due on Oct 1st week. She will not be able to travel till child birth. I was initially planning to travel on July or September for a week to get my PR card.

My question here is, I would have to submit my Visa, COPR and PR Card along with my wife's when we are applying for our baby, so when I submit that by November will I have an new date for my Visa? and can I travel after I get a renewed Visa or should I travel once before submitting the documents to add a dependent?

Hey!

Just came back from the Canadian Consulate in Sao Paulo... Passports and Visa on hand!!

I know that SPVO is very fast and we in Brazil can´t complain at all of their speed, but these 166 days since the receipt in Sydney until today were filled with anxiety! Every single step of the way... now this stage is over and speed up the landing and moving plans...

Once again, to all in this forum, this is a great place to learn about the process and also to see how we are not alone in the boat of trying to accomplish a dream, a plan... congrats once again to you all for making it a very positive place for all of us on the wait or even for those who are only planning still... keep up the spirit, mutual support and the energy!!
