What I think is that within 3 weeks the CRS would touch 441-440 again ! With no draw today and expecting at least a draw next week we have basically a competition of 1400-1500 added! I guess these 1400-1500 would be cleared with in 3-4 draws and score would touch 440 resulting in a 3 week draw again!! @abhishek_89 what you think bro? Moreover if draw size increases to 3750 then expect 439 by the 4th draw from now!
Yes, if the next draw happens on June 13th with 3500 ITAs, the cut off should be around CRS 450 or in the worst case around CRS 460. And yes by July 25, if they have a total of 4 draws (each with 3500 ITAs or more), then the cut off should come back down to atleast 440/439.

I don't see a reason why CIC would be adamant about keeping the cut off on CRS 440 and having a 3 week gap draw the next time the cut off reaches 440.

On the other hand, if that is what they are planning to do, they could keep a check on the CRS cut off such that it doesn't go below 440 (or whatever value they have in mind) and if by the end of the year, they don't reach their immigration targets, then they increase the invites or have back to back draws, thereby keeping the cut off at an optimum level throughout the year and avoiding any drastic fall like what happened last year.

I remember that time in Feb, when I got OINP NOI. Everybody told me to ignore the NOI as I will be wasting away 2 months rent and lot of time.....that I will get direct ITA at 435 within next 1 month. I personally know couple of people at same score as mine who rejected the NOI. I am glad I didnt listen to that. So like everyone is saying, if you are below 440, plan to increae your score whatever way possible. And keep working on that till you get ITA
This is spot on!

For all those 430ish people, you had one chance that to get Ontario's PNP call during January to March window. But, I have seen most of those people crying that IRCC and Ontario go hand in hand to earn more money(1500 CAD PNP fee) through PNPs and people were doing propaganda that 430ish people should wait till April to get the scores down. Even here, I saw so many comments at Ray of Hope forums that not to recreate the profile to get the NOI. Look what had happened. There is no hope at all. IRCC is very clear on going for the 440 above profiles to get the quality candidates into Canada. For the first time, Ontario was picking 430 CRS around people. You should have got that clue :(

Now, only hope for 430ish people is to wait for Ontario's call again in September to December window. Apart from that, I don't see any hope at all. I desperately wish that I should be wrong.

I'm on 438 but glad that I went for OINP, that's in the DIP stage right now.

I don't think it's worth for anyone below 430 to get into the draw ANY TIME SOON, for individuals like me who have maxed their scores in IELTS. The only option is to get into a college, throw some money and get a Canadian masters or PG Diploma. But that hope was also shattered as multiple colleges refused me stating that the study gap is more than 10 years.
Knowing that immigration rules can change any point in time, I have decided to pursue French language studies. Anyone who took this step before please help, by directing ppl like me to get equipped (clb 6) in French, in a short span of time.

Hi everyone,

I don't think it's optimal for them to keep the threshold above 440. The scores will have to eventually go down to 435s and 430s anytime soon! Granted, it might take some time for this to happen but let's keep our hopes up

Cheers

Just chipped in to give a tip;
You need a little bit of negativity to attract draws, with all hope, positivity and goodyness ,the Draw starts to act like a celebrity or your crush who is playing hard to get.....thats how it rolled in 2017.

Another Thing is ,If you make This whole thing as ‘my precious’ ... you will probably turn into Gollum.
So enjoy the present too and future will come when it comes and so does the ITA.

My husband is planning to do the same... starting next Saturday he will begin intensive personalized French Lessons (from 0 knowledge). Each Saturday he will invest 3 hours with a tutor. In addition, I would try to support him also talking to him, playing movies in french with subs etc etc

Although gaining a CLB 5 in short time from 0 it is really difficult, I think that it is posible if you really expend time and money (personal tutor). With CLB 5 you add 4 points more to your CRS. CLB7 is more likely to be achieved after at least 1 year of study with intensive lessons. It depends of each person ability with languages.

Good luck with your study! Hope you achieve soon CLB 6.

I don't know much about OINP. Do they issue invitations all year round? Where can I get more info about it?
I was in the pool since Feb 23rd 2018 at CRS 435 and have not been invited?
