There were couple of candidates here whose points were about to get reduced due to their birthday today. Please go over your application and make sure your application is updated before the next draw. Just a headsup!!

Just curious, even if they meet the criteria and get the ITAs, don't they need to meet cutoff points at the time of submission of application? If so, there are chances that their application can still get rejected at that point.

Quick question guys. In my EE profile, they ask if i have ever applied to IRCC before. I did apply for a visitor visa a couple months ago. Do i say "Yes". If so they ask for a UCI number. Where is that located on my visa page?? Help Please....

You say yes and a UCI number looks like xxxx-xxxx

If you don't know it keep the yes and explain in loe that you don't know it.

Determination — number of invitations

1. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 10.2(1)(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the number of invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on December 16, 2016 and ending on December 17, 2016 is 1,936.

Determination – required rank

(2) Foreign nationals who, on December 16, 2016 at 16:42:31 UTC, have been assigned a total of 497 points or more under the Comprehensive Ranking System that is set out in the Ministerial Instructions Respecting the Express Entry System, as published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on December 1, 2014 and as amended from time to time, occupy the rank required to be invited to make an application for permanent residence.....


Thus.....i t takes then around 1h to 2h to post the draw online after it takes place....
so.... I am lingering around until 3pm est...
