i'm on the same boat, pal. but i have somewhat of an interesting story:

last year the day I received the e-mail stating that my ECA was ready, I totaled up 415 points. Went online to update my profile and there was a draw held, 413. I missed the ITA by a matter of hours.

the only way for me to upgrade my score was to get my wife to take the IELTS and ECA. as she was swamped with work before, and she'd need to study for the exams, we decided to postpone it. Back in September we finally took the IELTS and her ECA was underway. Our score went up to 441 whilst waiting for her ECA report, due a couple of weeks later. In the midst of all this? A 442 points draw. Missed ITA by 1 point.

Now her ECA is complete, our score is currently 449 and we finally have had a draw with our capped score. Missed the ITA by the cut-off time.

It's getting frustrating. I'll lose 5 points in mid-December
hopefully next draw will give you much needed ITA.

I was waiting with a score of 449...the tie breaker ruled me out. It can not be more unfortunate than this :(
It's not unfortunate mate, your ITA got postponed to next draw that's it.;):p
Real unfortunate for the guys who are sitting in 440+ and expecting their birthdays soon

The way things are going, cut off will not go below 445, might touch 441-442 after every 3-4 draws. This is really disappointing. Yet, we must persevere and wait for the best.

Forget about draw next week. Chance for it to happen is almost 0. And same would go for a draw following Monday (26. November).
Next week is Thanksgiving in USA and more importantly Black Friday. because of that many people want to take a day off and try their luck in sales in USA. And the whole thing goes up to the Cyber Monday.

28. November is the most probable next date.

Interestingly, the date is of November 14th, while the draw was conducted today (15th).
They had planned to conduct the draw on Nov 14th and had to postpone it to Nov 15th due to the technical glitch.

The tie breaking rule is at September 16, 2018 at 12:41:42 UTC with a score of 449
I think it indicates that there were a lot of candidates who have turned down the invitation previously being back in the pool.
The last time the draw was this high was on June 13th at 451 with a Tie breaker of July 21st 2017. This is an isolated incident, perhaps due to high number new Canadian graduates being in the pool. Hopefully it will correct itself like in June 25th which was at 442.
It is due to the long 17 day gap between the draws. Even on June 13th, there was a gap of 21 days between 2 non program specific draws. More gap between draws allows more people to get added to the pool at higher scores which leads to higher cut off.

My score is also the same and I also missed the bus today. There are people saying that next draw will also be 448-450 range which is rather depressing.are you confident that scores will come down?
If the next draw happens on or before Nov 28th, the cut off would decrease (CRS 442 - CRS 445) based on the current intake trends.

Hello guys,

My crs is 444. I have submitted my express entry profile. What are the chances of next draw before 27th Nov.. Otherwise I will lose 5points and come down to 439. If this happens, will the crs come down to 439 or below in future and when can this be expected? Kindly enlighten.
They had a few draws done on Mondays last month, so there is a bit of hope for a Nov 26th draw. Nov 28th looks a more likely date for the next draw considering they tend to do most of the draws on Wednesdays.
CRS 439 or below cut off has not happened for more than a year now, so unless CIC has a 1 week gap draw it is impossible for the cut off to reach that range.

Can someone kindly explain, from the numbers above there were a total of 2114 profiles above CRS 451,

3900 - 2114 = 1786

And from 441-450 range, even if we assume there were half of the profiles with CRS 449 or 450,

1786 - 496 = 1290

Does that mean around 1300 profiles with CRS 449+ got added in to the pool from Nov 8th to Nov 15th ?
Yes, it should be more than that. Based on the current intake trends, around 1500 profiles get added every week with CRS 451 and above.
