Questions on applying online? [from PK] (hi seniors!)

Hello senior and bros,

today's questions: The Online process.

So I went the official website, and answered their very lengthy questionnaire. I told them

-I am Pakistani citizen
-Residing in Pak
-Have lived in XYZ countries over past 6 months (med required)
-Applying for work visa as well
-Work is required by my degree
-Duration is longer than 6 month (TRV required)

I was told I could apply online.

I then created a MyCG account and logged in.

The customized checklist created for me had many docs mentioned, inc:
COPIES of passport/pages
Student Permit form
Family Info Form

HOWEVER, the application for TRV was not included in the checklist.
What do you think is the reason behind that? Is TRV something you can get/apply for later?

Hey...you do not need a separate TRV application if you're applying for the study permit. "Depending on your citizenship or where you live, you may need a temporary resident visa as well as a study permit. See the list of designated countries. If you are from one of the designated countries, a visa officer will process your application for a temporary resident visa at the same time. that's true, but the customized checklist should ATLEAST include the form for TRV (IMM5257B - Application for TRV made outside of Canada).

The fact that this form is not present, is making me wonder if the checklist is up-to-date and/or reliable.

Any Pakistani who has gone through the process and applied online, please comment.

I think that TRV is not mentioned becuse it is attached to the students permit form.Just download a copy of TRV from cic website and open your students permit form then match that those two has same questions.

can anyone here tell me if we can upload SOP/cover letter in the online application?

Most of the questions are similar, but the TRV form focuses a lot more travel history

This will include scans of all printed/biodate pages of all previous/current passports correct?

where will you put the police clearance and transcript? it has no portion for these
