is there any specific time frame for the money to be in a bank deposit account? like it should be there in more than a year or something, the manila office said if the deposited money is less than one year, i should explain why.... any advice from you guys even if you are not from the philippines will be a great help... thank you so much...

Might be that they want to discourage borrowed funds. Ideally I think six months of money been in an account should be sufficient. After one can't leave money in an account if there urgent personal and business needs.

You might want to let them know that you are returning after making use of the fund for say trading on stock exchange, business etc.

Anyone with other suggestions?
