Hi all,
I am trying to raise the Super Visa application for my father.
He is widowed and I have filled the answers accordingly.
I stay in Quebec, so have selected that as the visiting province.
I do not know why the "Super Visa" option is not displayed in the Results page. Results screenshot
Please can someone help me on this, I would be really grateful.
Thank you.

A “super visa” is a type of visitor visa. IRCC does not use this term explicitly, but if it says “over 6 months” as in your screenshot, then it does refer to the super visa. This is already correct.

The tricky question is
How are you related to your family member?

you have to choose “Parent/Grandparents” Instead of Child/Grandchild, only then will it show you Super visa option.

I did select "Parent/Grandparents" , screenshots -> , but the Super Visa option did not appear.
But if I selected "Child/Grandchild", the Super Visa option appears. Thanks to @Sunny86
It is indeed strange, but that is how the website is displaying the information.

The application is being filled out on the parents behalf so they selected the right option.

Nah, it's just a tricky question. The answer should be: "the person who lives in Canada is my ...". So it's "child/grandchild". There is some information about it under that question mark icon at the end of each question.

Hi karens, I know your post is over 1 year ago but did your father manage to obtain the Super Visa? I have some questions and I am a Quebec resident and my mother is a widow too. Can I possibly PM you?
