Folks who had applied online for visa will not be receiving the Visa letter or the Letter of Introduction along with your passport. You will have to send a mail to the Canadian High Commission requesting them to send you the Visa Letter, which you have to show to the Immigration Officials at the Port of Entry(POE)/airport. Without this letter you will not be allowed to enter Canada.

One of my friend received the letter after this. The letter will be uploaded to your CIC account.

here's a thread posted today for people who apply online that online applicants need to request personally for an LOI to CHC by email. You won't receive any hard copy letter with the passport. Wait for a day or two and if you don't get,email them.

I received letter with passport, that letter is very important else the canadian immigration officer might create some issue there.

yes i have got my visa. i applied online. i have not received that letter with passport. i was asking is that letter mandatory to carry...???

Consultants want money for less work! First of all he applied online for you which is like half the task of in-person submission. I am assuming when applying through agent, the applicant can't send enquiry emails directly? Try insisting upon sending an email to CHC. Atleast make efforts from your side! Try completing unfinished tasks so that you don't feel you left something. I don't know how it would look but tell him to forward the auto response email he would receive to ensure he/she did it. In the end if you don't receive it even after sending an email, go on with whatever u hv in your hand.

If you have applied online and it gets approved, just the passport comes with a visa stamp on it with no cover letter.
