I don't know the answer to your question, but it brings up some very interesting thoughts - WHO is the employer? Does this qualify for Canadian experience? Would a Canadian or PR be paid by the Canadian University to do this work? I think you would need a work permit if you were technically taking a position that could be done by the latter.
