I lost my PR Card and I applied for the replacement today. I plan to travel to Europe in July to visit my family. If I do not receive a new card by then, should I apply for a PRTD in May? I am a bit worried because, according to the Government of Canada website, I need to provide the reason for urgency of my application, and I am not sure if "seeing my family" would be considered an urgent reason to travel without my PR. I purchased the round-trip plane tickets in March.
Do you have any recommendations on what I should do in such scenario? Thank you in advance for your help.
