If you take a quick peek into my timeline, I'm an American inland applicant from 2010. Nothing too complicated, just issues where I had to send in multiple things.

I have AIP and they sent me a letter and I sent off my UK police certificate on September 23rd. I then got a letter Feb 4th requesting Medicals to be redone. This comes off as a little odd. Why didnt they just ask for them when the sent my AIP letter? I guess my Medicals weren't expired then? Surely they would have seen that they were going to expire soon... Well, I got my medicals done on the 24th of Feburary and I'm waiting to hear back.

I'm going to assume this is going to be the last of the requests. I cant fathom what else they could want from me! Has anyone or has anyone known of someone who has gotten medicals requested like this? And how long did it take for an acknowledgement from CIC?

Appears rather long from the timeline provided. What do they tell you when you call the 1-800 number for an update?

We sent you medical instructions on February 2, 2012. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

This is my timeline. I think since I've gotten my medical done only a few weeks ago I dont think they would have any useful info for me, but I'll give them a ring tomorrow and see what they say...

I think you're right if the medical only went in as you mentioned that will take a number of weeks at a minimum before anything is heard.

Yeah I gave them a call and they've gotten my medicals. They're still apparently working on my background checks too. She said they're in the stage where they verify the background checks? I dont know what that means, but she game me an estimation of April-May until I hear something back. I suppose that's semi-good news..

It's been 90 days since they sent the letter to me requesting my medicals. Still nothing new. I'm really hoping things will be done soon.
