Query regarding City of Destination

Hello,
Is it mandatory to land in the city of Dest on my first landing or can i land in some other Canadian city?

You can land anywhere, except if you have got PR thru the provincial nomination program (pnp) . In that case you have to land and stay only in that province for certain years. Also Quebec isn't part of EE , so don't update that as your intended destination or your application will be rejected

Thanks for your inputs. The reason we were concerned is because our consultancy has been insisting that we need to land in the city of dest. mentioned in the CoPR. We are under SW1 catagory.
