Hi All,

I have received my PR. However, I need to enter Canada in another 3 months, as our expiry is by 12 Dec 2017. This may be because they processed based on my child's old passport expiry date. She has got a new passport, but it was old one when we filed application.
As we are not prepared fully to continue from December, the query i have is:

1) Can I enter Canada, stay there for a week and leave?
2) How to re-enter Canada. I have my friend's address where I can receive the PR card on behalf of us?
3) Can he bring PR card to me by hand and then re-enter at any later time or Do i need to apply for a travel document or so?

Can somebody help me with answers, if you have faced similar situation?

Regards,
Anoop

1. Yes...make note all dependents also have to land by the expiry date.
2. Yes but only if your friend does not have a Quebec address.
3. Both options you gave are acceptable.
