I live in the UAE and recently got my PR application approved. Plan to move for good in a few months.
I've heard there are ways to avoid paying any sorts of taxes on money that we have before moving to Canada. I have cash in UAE and FD's in India.
1. What are the best ways to move money to Canada and is there any limit?
2. Similar to 'goods to follow', is there anything like 'money to follow' to ensure that no taxes are charged for existing funds outside of Canada or when I transfer them into Canada later?
