Quebec CSQ rejected-Impact on study permit?

Hi,

Anyone can help please.

I have applied for CSQ in 2012. Got rejection in 2015 as the document was not in a format (Marksheet issued from the UK but notrised from India. Rejection reason-has to be verified by document issuer) according to requirements. Now want to apply for a study permit in Ontario. Does it impact on study permit? Do I need to mention in form that my CSQ has been rejected?

CSQ is for work permit or PR.

If only CSQ is rejected, then there should not be any problem.

No need to mention it, as it doesn't matter nor they ask for it. If your whole application was rejected, then its different story.

I remember being asked on a visitor visa application if I ever applied for a CSQ and if it was rejected ... so it is worth mentioning. It is not a crime to be rejected, but it is a crime to not mention a reject. So when in doubt, always mention.
