i wanna ask about the Application form:

Question 1: Family name after marriage (if applicable), what should i write if there no change in name after marriage? should i write N/A?

Question 5: Name and address of your dependent children (if different from your residence address) , if it is not different from my residence address, should i write the same address again or just write N/A??

N/A here will mean that u are not yet married. hence if u are married and there is no change of name, it means the question is applicable to u. u can just fill in same as above or u write it out for them again.

and status is : Application received "
no update since then.. yeah u wont get update request since u are QSW, the next thing should be medicals.... but the timing/duration for medicals to come varies greatly from VO to VO... for instance it took mine 8months to come.. while in some other VO's it is considerably lower than that and in others it is considerably higher..... which is ur VO ( Visa office)

i sent an email today about the interview to paris office and he sent me answer that my file is still in process.

i hope things will be done soon..

it is a waiting game bro.... the latest info i av is that there will be an interview by december for BIQ-paris applicants.they av started sending invite to applicants whose file had been screened up to that satge of interview. u might still make the cut for that schedule

BTW, i thought BIQ-paris had cancelled e-mail for skilled workers. cos even there electronic mail only addresses these 3issues: cchanging address, adding new dependant, and any other modifications with nothing on processing update. pls i wont mind if u can share the e-mail address u used. thanks and cheers

hello..im new to this forum... im planning to apply for QSW and I wanted to know if in filling up the Application for selection certificate, does that mean I need to fill out one form for me (as the main applicant) and one form for my spouse? Thanks hope you could help me with these..Thanks

I have another question, is language course considered a diploma?? i have spent one year in Chinese training center, should i write it in diploma table??

Osame, I agree here with egrace. I did the same. Does your transcript not already have the university/college stamp on it? I think that's what usually a transcipt does.
If you don't have the college stamp then you may do as egrace says, i.e., get a notary to do it. Its super fast! I got mine done in like 5 minutes ;D

my original transcript is stamped but not the photocopies.. so I guess I will do as what egrace suggested.. I actually didn't know we can do that and thought it has to be issued by the university again.. especially Quebec immigration website doesn't show that..

no your language course does not apply here. by diploma they meant training for at least two years. by the way, stating ur chinese skills here as little or no effectt.

hi welcome on board... yes you need to fill two QSW application forms in case of a joint application.
One for your and one for your suppose. cheers

Thanks for the reply. Just wanted to know the processing times. I have few questions here. right now I am in Quebec working on work permit. what happens if I loose my job ? and I do not get my PR in time? I came to know that I am not allowed to work with the exiting work visa. do I have to go back to my country ?
