NOC - not on priority
quebec application filed to Paris on March 18, 2011
AOR received - 15 August 2011
interview invitation received - 20 November 2011
Interview in Paris - 06 February 2012
Federal Application filed to Sydney, NS on 29Feb 2012
File number from Sydney, NS received on 23 March 2012 by e-mail.
Medical request issued 12 June 2012 and received by post (reached my lawyer in Canada on 19th June)
Medicals done 4 July 2012, sent 6 July and delivered to London visa office on 9 July 2012
Waiting...
ECAS in process since 19 April 2012

Please can someone help acalculate our points to knw if we qualify for QSW.

Husband

Education - Bsc Computer Science 3yrs 6 plus 6 aot
Age - 32yrs 16
Experience - System Analyst 5+yrs 8
IELTS - 6.5band 4
To enroll in French soon 0

Wife

Education - Bsc Marketing 2
Age - 28yrs 3
Experience -HR Analyst 4yrs
IELTS - Result will be out on friday
To enroll in French soon 0

Child - 2yrs 4

Financial Ability - Yes 1

Please someone should help. Also please where can i get the NOC for Computer Science, dont seem to find it on their website. 2171 for systems analyst
Also, i am a nigerian, pls where should i submit my application PARIS or MONTREAL as i heard Paris is no longer collecting, pls is this true? hev no idea

Dear it seems your points are less to apply at the moment, it is suggested to take some french exam and get at least A2 to get 57 points and it is recommended to take B1 with your wife A2 to make you case stronger.

1. describe your education/job experience/courses that you took
2. I think your job does not match your area of training. Why?
3. Why Quebec? Why Montreal?
4. Do you have pay slips showing your salary?
5. Do you have your scholarship award letter?
6. How did you learn French?
7. Do you know how many companies are there in your field in Quebec?
8. What profession you want to exercise in Quebec?

Hello Everyone.

1) can we submit notarized copies of our academics documents? or do we only need to send the true certified copies?

2) we are getting 57 points without french. can we send the application now and then post the test after taking classes ,at a later stage?

You have to send notarized copies of you educational certificates, birth certificate, and experience certificates.. etc However, French and English language proficiency proofs has to be submitted in Original.
2) we are getting 57 points without french. can we send the application now and then post the test after taking classes ,at a later stage?
You can file your application and start learning french, it helps you to get full points adaptability at the time of interview

Education=10, Areas of training=6, work expereince=8, Age=16, language=6, Spouse education=3, Spouse Areas of Training=0, Spouse Age=3, Child=8, financial=1
Total= 61

Question is, if I have like 61 points without counting on 6 points of adaptability in interview or even without having claiming French Language points, will it be wise to go on with the case? Or is it likely that they are going to reject the application in the interview.

Your files seems good...Even people are applying with 57 points also...then compare yourself with it...you have 61 points...
Think positive and proceed..you will get success
