i have applied for csq since 2010 and they called me for interview im 2013 on 2 septembre ,they send to me a convocation 2 month ago the interview .the interview was in Turkey in Istanbul (in Hilton parkasa Istanbul Hotel)the interview took about one hour and all the documents original were with me,the consult verified all the documents and asked me many quastions about expierence,my job,my knowledge about Quebec,how much is my salary in my country and he posed 3 quastions in english too,so he verified how u speak french and how ur adaptility is ,after one hour he asked me to get out from the room and take a break,after that he opened the door and asked me to get into the room.
and he hands the documents,he looked at me and after that he told me that i have succssed
and he delivered me 2 example of CSQ

Am a nurse, Irish Nationality, English speaker only, ielts submitted (7.5), but struggling with French, infact No French clues at all. Must I be speaking French at the time of interview? or will it count against me

At this stage, I think the best investment in the future outcome of your application is French knowledge. Register for classes now and start taking them seriously. As a nurse, you might improve your chances of getting an interview waiver if you send them a French test with at least a B2 to update your application once you get your file number or later.

So register for french lessons and you gonna be on the safe side if you really intend to go to Quebec.

Just got my AOR today via mail. File was opened Dec 19, 2013. I guess it got delayed in the mail system.

Take note that my file was opened last 12/19/2013 and I only received it today. I guess there's something wrong with the mail system and it got delayed. Hoping for the best for all of us.

Their system is weird. I know of a person who submitted papers a week after mine and got their AOR within 2 months. I used bank draft.

Let's just hope for the best.

To explain you my case, have a look at below:
I have applied my file under new rule after Aug'13 in November'13 and i am expecting my AOR in feb/march. With new rule you can avail french points only after completing B2, that is i guess very much tough and dont have that much time as my A1 will finish in this Feb. Also as per the new rule if you clear 63 points (if you are applying with dependent) without french that is also fine, however you should have proficiency in french to face the interview and to get adaptability points. That is the purpose i am learning french.

Now if i explain my case i have 61 points with dependent without considering 6 points of adaptability. Now i have 3 questions:
1) what are the chances that without interview I may get CSQ?
2) IF we do have basic proficiency only in french, then can be the interview in french & English both? and will it be harmful or claim as negative point for receiving CSQ?
3) Will my spouse get interviewed by visa officer? if yes then french necessary for her?
4) What are the next steps and timeframe after i get AOR
