i live and work here in metro manila. i think you can get married now, since you already have your file number. you just have to update them regarding your civil status, and maybe submit additional documents of your spouse but this might delay your processing time a little longer. however, if you are not in a hurry to go to canada i think this option is better, so that you and your spouse can go to canada at the same time. otherwise, if you wait for your loa before you get married, your spouse can just follow you. not really sure if my answer is right, this is just based on my opinion... maybe you can ask experts in other forums. this might be of help. this was shared to me by one of the members of this forum... good luck!

>Dec 4, 2010-Submit all docs to Embassy (Fees and Orig Docs)
> Jan 22, 2010- Received confirmation letter/File No/Medical Instruction
>Feb 6,2010- Medical Exam done @ Nationwide
>Feb 18,2010- Medical Records submitted to the Embassy
>Apr 6, 2010- Got PPR. Yehey!
> Apr 7, 2010 - To Submit Appendex A, PP and Photos. Note Passport should be Machine Readable
>May 12,2010- Decision Made (thru ecas) a pre-birthday gift thank u lord
>May 21,2010 - Received call from CEM asking if I already got my package. And I said, wala pa. 6:00pm same day received call from DHL re the package, and informed me that the package sent was not intended for me. And that my package was sent to someone but returned to CEM already.Im worried until now I hav'nt received any call from the Embassy and DHL. Huhuhu. Can anyone help me what to do? Hay!

Crizzy & Hailo, ano ginamit mong zip code sa pagsend ng passport mo thru courier?kasi i got the email already, kaso nalito naman ako kasi ang zip code ng embassy ay 1200, pero ang sabi sa letter, sa 1226 ko daw ipadala....pls help me...thanks...

Hi Guys, I got my passport back with the lucky Sticker (VISA). It was already approved pala May 5 pa lang and I received it just last weekends. Thank God. Im about to attend PDOS on monday next week, just got confirmation from CFO.

Can anyone help me look for cheap fare. Im leaving the country by September..Do 1st time Immigrants get discount on airfare?

I joined this forum not for myself but for my daughter. She and her husband (principal applicant) were sponsored by my brother. My brother submitted their application last Dec. 2009 and we received a letter March 16, 2010 stating that their application has been received and will be in process.

I hope, with God's help, we will get positive feedback soon.

ESR keep me posted with the status of your application coz your application was submitted also last Dec. 2009 and you received your acknowledgment last march 2010. Our timeline is the same. God Bless to all of us...
