Provide Consultancy for a short time in Canada

As a Permanent Resident, Can you sign with your employer a Consultancy for a short period of time let's say 2 to 3 weeks.

I am traveling Canada only to work a very short time, and after that returning home.

Is there something I need to be aware of, in this kind of arrangements?

I think maybe you need to be a bit more specific on your intentions as not very clear in your post. As a PR you can come and go as you please but still need to meet the 2 years out of every 5 years residency obligation to keep PR/

Are you implying being employed by a Canadian employer and returning to your home country after couple weeks and working from there which obviously would not eventually meet residency obligation.

As said need to explain a bit more what you are asking, home is Canada or home country for example.
