Hi
I would be very glad if some one can enlighten me on the following issue.

I applied for PR card renewal but they say there are inconsistencies in my application and that i may not be eligible for permanant residence. I own mortgaged properties in Canada and i come from a visa exempt country. My question is if i renounce my PR status or the immigration revokes my PR status, would i need to sell my properties at the same time and close my Bank Accounts???

No. Citizenship has nothing to do with the land titles. Lots of foreigners own properties in Canada. The bank may have an issue because your SIN won't be activated but generally not a problem.

Why are they trying to revoke your PR? are you not meeting RO?
