Proof of Funds when applying under SDS program

Hi,

I am trying to apply for student visa from India for a 2 yr program. The question I have is, a financial evaluation letter required for the application as that is not stated in canada.ca website for this program? But my agency asked to provide this financial evaluation doc from a CA apart from the 10k CAD GIC certificate
Please advice the right path.
