Hi All,
onset, excuse me if this question has been asked before :)
My question is simple and clear, I don't have the amount of CAD $ 16000 for family of 3 ::)...I would like to hear your suggestions about how to get these money in my account 8). I am in the 120 days period and I have to submit our documents before 6th Oct 2010. My end of service gratutiy may counted to more than $ CAD 20000 :D, but this will happen after I got the visa stamped and I resign from my current job.
Please expertise, seniors and friends post your ideas to help me get this issue sorted before the 120 days passed.
Thanks in advance

As you stated, you will have the amount of money after you resigned...Now- You can borrow money from your family member because your are in the 120days deadline, anyway you will not spend it. It will just be in your account until you have the visa stamp. when you resign you will have your own money to bring to Canada, so you can give back the borrowed money with the interest in your initial bank account.

Just an idea. Some people are actually doing this. Taking a loan from any bank is too risky.

hope this helps. :)

Do you actually need to have those money in your bank account through all the process till you get visa or is it just enough to have them as you make proof that you have them and thyen you can take them out???

It's better to keep the money while the whole process is going on, but you can withdraw the money between the statements so you can be prepared in case if they request you another proof of funds.
Regards.

> Show as much money as possible in cash in your bank accounts, If you have insurance policy - get a certified letter from the insurer of the surrender value.

> Provide a letter from your employer - Transferable value of your Gratuity in cash once you leave the job.

> If you are a home owner, surveyor report stating the resale value of your house.

> Once you have provided the proof of funds you need not to keep them in your account. But be aware during the whole process CHC might ask you again to provide the proof of funds. Also it has been in few cases where applicant spent the funds before landing in Canada and where refused entry at the prot. DO not take any chances, would be my advice.

All the Best

Hi OmMONA,

My husband is the principal applicant... we're family of 5 so we need around CAN$24,000 but at the time of submission of docs, we did'nt have that amount in the bank. What my husband did was... he submitted the photocopies of our passbooks to let the embassy officers know that we have existing accounts in the bank, sent copy of our land title, and a letter informing them that he'll receive a certain amount once he resigns from his present job. After 6 months they only asked for our bank confirmation that our account is really in US$. So I suggest that you do the same as what my husband did because the required amount for your family is not yet needed by the embassy at this time, it will be needed at the time of landing in canada because the immigration officers will check for your proof of funds.

I hope this will help...Goodluck :) :)
