Proof of funds for university category

i am applying under university category and according to CIC website
payment of 1 years tuition fee + GIC is enough as proof of funds
i have paid 1 years tuition fee($20000) and got GIC
is this enough under university category??
my friends have got visa by paying just one semesters fee n GIC but they applied under SPP
so bit worried .....any advice??

My loan is getting delayed, so thinking of submittng following

GIC+ First sem tuition fees receipt
Parents ITR
Bank statements
