Hi

I got the invitation through CEC (canadian experience class). I worked for two year in a NOC A job. My wife and children or non-accompanying depenednets in my application.
My question is do I have to show proof of funds (POF). In my online account is showing a option to upload POF document. I heard that if inviation received through CEC , we no need to show proof of funds. But I am not sure.
can anyone please suugest me on this. Thanks

You don't need to show POF but it is advisable to include an explanation letter. Officers like to see the letter attached.

I believe you will be fine as long as you didn't claim extra points when you submitted your application with a job offer or LMIA. A senior can comment on this better.

CEC
Also applied via CEC. I put zero as my funds figure and didn't upload a letter. I did make reference to it in my additional documents/letter of explanation, however.

My application is currently processing (since Feb), but has passed the completion check, so it seems my zero funds were accepted.
