Hi,
I would suggest getting a certificate from the bank stating that you have an account with them (incl account no. details) with your balanace mentioned as on date and also a conversion to CAD based on the banks current exchange rate. This should go on their letter head.
Also, you could get a 6 month statement signed and stamped by the bank. That's helpful.
I carried these but was not asked for any this at immigration but it's always good to be prepared and carry all the supporting documents.
