Promise Letter to Financially Support Supervisa Applicant

I am a little confused about the promise letter. Is it the same as the letter of invitation? If no, then where I can a find a template?

Just include a paragraph in your invitation letter promising to support the super visa applicant. That's what I did and got approved for my mother.

I wrote one invitation letter addressed to the immigration officer only, did not bother to write two separate letters.
