Processing times question: from the date it was received or opened?

Just wondering what the 65 day wait time is for spousal sponsorship... From the day they received the physical application in the mail - or from the day they officially "opened it". There's quite a difference.

Once they open it I assume it's pretty fast and straight forward, so I am guessing the time includes the 2 months my package sat there unopened.

From the date they received the application.They will open it after 65 days of backlog as listed on the website....

Just go their response.... and I was approved!
